Jason Hart is the Managing Director of Vidaris. In this role, Mr. Hart oversees all aspects of Vidaris’ operations. His areas of responsibility include operations, the legal department, the construction advisory business unit, enterprise risk management, dispute avoidance and resolution, corporate matters, M&A, and ethics and compliance matters. Under the construction advisory business unit, Mr. Hart is responsible for managing, among other things, the alternative dispute resolution and litigation expert consulting services that Vidaris performs for our valued clients. Outside of the office, Mr. Hart enjoys philanthropic endeavors including being a member of the construction committee for the World Cares Center, a disaster relief and recovery nonprofit organization. Mr. Hart is a member of Vidaris’ executive management team. He joined Vidaris as General Counsel prior to becoming the Managing Director.
Prior to joining Vidaris, Mr. Hart was a construction attorney for Peckar & Abramson, P.C., where he represented construction and real estate clients in a number of market segments. After obtaining a business degree from Babson College, he began his career with Lend Lease, quickly becoming a project manager. While working full time in the construction industry, he concurrently attended Brooklyn Law School as an evening student and is currently pursuing an MBA. Mr. Hart has been selected by Engineering News Record New York as a top 20 under 40 in construction, by Building Design + Construction as a 40 under 40 in the AEC industry, and by Thomson Reuters as a New York Super Lawyer Rising Star for construction litigation.
He has developed a forward thinking operations and legal department with a strategy of executing business solutions to complex issues. Mr. Hart’s contribution to the AEC and real estate ecosystem includes public speaking engagements on operational excellence, expert consulting, legal hygiene, preventative and collaborative dispute avoidance, and regulatory and compliance matters. Mr. Hart is on the roster of construction arbitrators with the American Arbitration Association.
