As an Associate Director, Ms. Hearn specializes in scheduling, accounting and financial analyses across a wide variety of industries, including matters related to construction claims and disputes. Recently, she was assigned to a project at a food processing plant where she analyzed Change Orders and applications for payment, assisted in conducting several schedule analyses, performed a job cost variance analysis, analyzed costs to complete the project after termination of the contractor, and prepared graphics.
Ms. Hearn previously worked for an environmental consulting firm for seven years. She assisted with the preparation of trial exhibits and binders, including remediation cost estimates; updated Summation databases at clients’ offices; managed documents on litigation support projects; prepared UST Fund reimbursement requests on behalf of clients; prepared graphs detailing quarterly sampling trends; and drafted subject property figures with sample locations, results, and plume lines. Ms. Hearn created a variety of Microsoft Access databases, including laboratory result databases to analyze current and historical sampling trends and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) databases for clients to use to ensure employee safety compliance. She also processed prevailing wage payroll, worked with auditors per client contracts, performed invoicing, and provided other financial administrative support.
Ms. Hearn attended Bard College, with a focus on Victorian literature. She obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate from University of California, Irvine; a Microsoft Access Certificate from California State University, Fullerton; and has completed accounting coursework at Fullerton College. She obtained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2010.
